Good luck with the B-King, I have always liked the whole concept of the bike and I even like the looks, (although I am in the minority).
As all the opposition are bringing out smaller lighter bikes Suzuki are still making them for people who like physically big bikes.
And you can never have too much torque.

Angry Not Happy

Well i picked up the B King and all was well took it home and due to work commitments she sat in the garage for the next 10 days, then i got the chance to take her out and put some serios miles on her, 250 miles later and my dream is shattered the gearbox is really clunky not what you expect from Suzuki the clutch rumbles on tickover, it has really spoilt the bike for me i took it back to Robinsons and they checked it out took it for a test ride and came back with nothing wrong, well since then the bike has stayed in the garage, the gearbox has ruined my expectation of the bike i took a demo out on two occasions with none of these symptoms, at the moment i dont have the time to ride it and to be honest i dont have the inclination.
Has anyone out there had a similar experience with a B King?
Robinsons answer is it will bed in, well why have i never had a Suzuki with a clunky box before.

Not Happy

I know Mick (Ziggy) took the bike round to dealers to show it off, not sure if he ever rode it though. I will point him in this direction for him to shed any light on it one way or the other.

I have never rode the B King but like Mark have had a K8 Busa, same gearbox and no problem.

If you are not happy with the diagnosis ask Robinsons if they will get the local technical representative from Suzuki to have a look at it.

Robinsons are normally very good dealers.

I bought a K8 BUSA in april and when I was running it for the first 600 mile felt that the clutch was noisy and the box no where near as smooth as my 1400.
600 miles and first service later........... silky smooth, no rattles,
1000 miles Hyperdrive engaged.
It just gets quicker and smoother.
Just remember.............

Ashes to Ashes and Dust to Dust,
if dont take it out and use it,
its going to rust !
